About Gibson Melody Maker Guitars

The Melody Maker was introduced to the guitar-playing public in 1959 and discontinued in 1971.  In 1977, it was reintroduced as part of the "All American Line" which included The Hawk and The Paul II.  Now the Melody Maker is manufactured not as a variation of any other model but has its own line. This was started in 2007.
